<![CDATA[Ministry Administrative Assistant]]> Masiello Employment Services is working with a church located in Keene NH to assist them to identify a new Ministry Administrative Assistant to join their Parish.

This is a part-time temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.  The schedule is approximately 19 hours per week, Tues through Friday 10am to 3pm and could be somewhat flexible if needed. 

Duties of the Ministry Administrative Assistant:

  • Maintain accurate membership database
  • Regularly update the parish directory
  • Produce weekly bulletin and liturgist materials using MS Publisher
  • Create and send out weekly eNews using Mail Chimp
  • Update Parish website as directed using Square Space
  • Take and record phone messages
  • Send timely information to local media as needed
  • Communicate requests for pastoral services to the Rector
  • Prepare baptismal and marriage documents and record in ledger
  • Answer phones and assist callers
  • Greet and assist guests
  • Provide ministry teams with clerical support
  • Oversee office volunteers
  • Attend parish meetings as directed
  • Order supplies
  • Assist with completing annual report

Qualifications required for the Ministry Administrative Assistant

  • HS Diploma required - associates degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years professional office experience
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Publisher, Excel
  • Experience creating newsletters 
  • Knowledge of eNews programs (Mail Chimp)
  • Professional written and verbal communication
  • Pleasant and welcoming personality
