Our client in Peterborough, NH is looking for a Boiler Mechanic to join their team!

Your qualifications for the Boiler Mechanic position are as follows:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Additional technical training
  • 2+ years mechanical experience
  • Power Plant Operator certificate preferred
  • Working knowledge of relevant trades
  • Ability to read manuals
  • Familiarity with code and safety compliance

  • Full time 1st shift hours Monday – Friday 7am-3pm
  • Additional on call hours every 3-4 weeks

As the Boiler Mechanic your duties will include:
  • Maintain efficient operation of boilers and other equipment for the facility
  • Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance
  • Inspect equipment and troubleshoot issues
  • Complete paperwork as required
  • Respond to emergency situations to maintain proper boiler operations
  • Conduct water tests
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding equipment status
  • Maintain supply/parts inventory
  • Ensure safety and company policies/procedures are followed
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Any additional duties as assigned
