Our client in the Greenfield, MA area is looking for a Master Planner to join their team!

Your qualifications for the Master Planner position are as follows:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Materials Management, Supply Chain or related
- 5+ years recent/relevant experience
- APICS certification preferred
- Strong computer skills including expert Microsoft Excel skills
- Proficient use of ERP systems
- Understanding of manufacturing principles
- Excellent data analysis and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Direct Hire position
- Full time schedule Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm
- $75-$90k/year depending on skills and experience

- Create production plan and ensure customer needs are met efficiently
- Collaborate with others to schedule orders
- Monitor backlog to meet demand
- Maintain and update planning/production data in MRP system
- Monitor reports for past due orders and correct issues
- Create metrics/analytics to forecast production, trends, and efficiency
- Develop and implement planning automation systems
- Advance planning for material shortages
- Communicate with manufacturing and logistics to track orders and meet deadlines
- Provide order information to customer service
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations for new product launch
- Identify areas of improved efficiency with an eye toward continuous process improvement
- Collaborate with team members to meet objectives
- Other projects as assigned
