Job Description
Our client located in the Greenfield, MA area is looking for a Design Engineer to join their team!
Your qualifications for the Design Engineer position are as follows:

Your qualifications for the Design Engineer position are as follows:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Operations, or related engineering field
- Previous engineering experience in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Statistical Process Control preferred
- Understanding of APQP tools
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced problem solving abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively while multitasking with shifting priorities to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Direct Hire position
- Full time schedule Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
- $57-$75k/year depending on skills and experience
- Full company benefits package
- Develop and support new products and processes
- Collaborate with others to meet company objectives
- Create improvements to manufacturing process design
- Lead new product development, testing, and launch
- Work with vendors to ensure proper equipment supply
- Work with operations and floor staff
- Utilize root cause analysis to identify and correct problems
- Other duties as needed
