Our client located in Brattleboro, VT is looking for a HR and Benefits Coordinator to join their team!

Your qualifications for the HR and Benefits Coordinator position are as follows:
  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years recent/relevant benefits or employee benefits administration experience
  • Payroll administration experience
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CEBS certifications preferred
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and HRIS/benefits databases
  • Kronos/Paylocity experience is a plus
  • Notary Public preferred
  • Understanding of plan design and contract language
  • Ability to work efficiently and multitask with shifting priorities to meet deadlines
  • Commitment to follow through and sense of urgency
  • Good analytical skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid understanding of regulation, filing, and compliance requirements
Benefits you will receive as the HR and Benefits Coordinator:
  • Direct Hire position
  • Monday – Friday 9am-5:30pm
  • Opportunity for hybrid schedule 3 days in office, 2 days remote per week once trained
  • $60-$65k/year based on skills and experience

For the HR and Benefits Coordinator position your duties will include:
  • Process employee benefits
  • Manage benefits from enrollment to termination
  • Communication with insurance vendors
  • Communication with employees
  • Become trained to serve as back up for payroll/fill in as needed
  • Troubleshoot/adjust payroll issues
  • Set up wage garnishments
  • Maintain data in payroll system
  • Quarterly reconciliation
  • Support for HR team
  • Other duties as assigned
