Our client company in Brattleboro, VT is looking for a 2^nd shift Manufacturing Supervisor to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity that will have you working Monday – Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am. Training will be on 1st shift. The position offers pay commensurate with skills and experience.

As the 2^nd shift Manufacturing Supervisor you will be responsible for the following tasks including, but not limited to:

• Supervise production floor operations
• Plan and assign work to team members
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
• Coordinate activities to meet order and inventory requirements
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage employee relations, coaching and development
• Performance evaluations, attendance, and timekeeping
• Coordinate with other departments to meet organizational goals
• Other duties as assigned

Your Skills/Qualifications for the 2^nd Shift Manufacturing Supervisor position:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 5+ years manufacturing supervisory experience
• Understanding of manufacturing methods, techniques, equipment, and operations
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications
• Excellent written/verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to follow through
• Superior ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Current knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
