Accounting Clerk
Job Description
Our client located in Brattleboro VT is looking to hire an Accounting Clerk. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering a pay range of $22-$24/hour depending on experience. This position will have you working Monday – Friday 8am-5pm and once hired on by the company, you will be eligible for their benefits package.
Your responsibilities as the Accounting Clerk:
- Payroll entry
- Accounts receivable
- Accounts payable
- Communicate with management and provide reports as requested
- Complete other administrative tasks and projects as assigned
Your qualifications for the Accounting Clerk position:
- High School Diploma required, business or accounting degree preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in general accounting
- Strong computer skills MS Office
- Experience with accounting and payroll software programs
- Professional demeanor
- Positive attitude
- Trustworthy and reliable
- Able to maintain confidential information
- Highly motivated
- Able to meet deadlines and work independently
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple competing priorities
- Proactive approach and good problem solving skills
