Accounting Clerk
Job Description
Your qualifications for the Accounting Clerk position are as follows:
- High School Diploma
- 3+ years professional office/administrative and basic accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Multi-line phone experience
- Strong computer skills including QuickBooks
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently
- Professional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage time and work effectively while multitasking with multiple shifting priorities
- Must have strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Temp to hire position
- Full time hours Monday – Friday 8am-5pm with 1 hour lunch
- Potential for hybrid schedule once trained
- $24-$25/hour based on skills and experience
- Once hired on, Medical/Dental/Vision/Life Insurance
- Once hired on, 401k with company match
- Once hired on, Paid holidays and vacation time
- Once hired on, Year-end performance bonus
- Answer, screen, and direct phone calls
- Greet and assist visitors
- Manage email communication and incoming/outgoing documents
- Maintain tidy reception area
- Order office supplies
- File management – paper and electronic
- Data entry
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks
- Record maintenance
- Other related duties as requested
