Job Description

Our client in Westmoreland NH is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team. This temp to hire hire position will have you working in the office Monday–Friday 8am to 4:30pm and offers $17-$20/hour/hour depending on experience. 

Once hired on, you will also be eligible for their benefits including health insurance, 401k, and paid holidays/vacation.

Your duties/responsibilities as the Administrative Assistant:

  • Answer, screen, and direct calls
  • Greet and assist visitors to the office
  • Sort and distribute mail/deliveries, send outgoing mail
  • Maintain reception area
  • Payroll using QuickBooks
  • Creating Spreadsheets and entering information
  • File weekly payroll taxes
  • Maintain payroll tax spreadsheets
  • Project costing/billing
  • Record project A/R and A/P
  • Prepare proposals
  • General office support duties
  • Other projects as assigned

Your skills/qualifications for the Administrative Assistant position:

  • High School Diploma
  • 2-3+ years recent professional office experience
  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel
  • Must have a love of Excel 
  • Payroll experience preferred
  • QuickBooks proficiency preferred
  • Good math skills
  • Customer service experience in a business environment
  • Professional written and verbal communication
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn
  • Fast and accurate data entry
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Pleasant and positive demeanor and telephone presence
  • Ability to work effectively and multitask in a fast-paced office
