Boiler Mechanic
Job Description
Your qualifications for the Boiler Mechanic position are as follows:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Additional technical training
- 2+ years mechanical experience
- Power Plant Operator certificate preferred
- Working knowledge of relevant trades
- Ability to read manuals
- Familiarity with code and safety compliance
- Direct hire position
- Full time 1st shift hours Monday – Friday 7am-3pm
- Additional on call hours every 3-4 weeks
- Salary commensurate with skills and experience
- Health and dental insurance

- Paid holidays/vacation time
- Maintain efficient operation of boilers and other equipment for the facility
- Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance
- Inspect equipment and troubleshoot issues
- Complete paperwork as required
- Respond to emergency situations to maintain proper boiler operations
- Conduct water tests
- Communicate with supervisor regarding equipment status
- Maintain supply/parts inventory
- Ensure safety and company policies/procedures are followed
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Any additional duties as assigned
