Job Description

Our client located in Hinsdale, NH is looking for a part time Budget/Finance Coordinator to join their team! This is a temp to hire position that will have you working Monday - Thursday 7:30am – 4pm; there is some flexibility on the schedule and the position offers $22-$24/hour depending on skills and experience.

Your duties as the Budget/Finance Coordinator:

  • Manage organization finances
  • Accounts payable
  • Accounts receivable
  • Process payroll and complete payroll taxes
  • Prepare accounting reports
  • Maintain records
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Assist with budget preparation
  • Month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Audit preparation
  • Assist with grant and project administration
  • Manage organization insurance
  • Participate in training and educational opportunities
  • Administrative assistance as needed
  • Assist with troubleshooting computer issues and updating website
  • Provide support in other areas as needed

Your qualifications for the Budget/Finance Coordinator position:

  • Associates Degree in Accounting or related field, experience will be considered
  • 2+ years recent/relevant experience
  • Payroll, AP/AR experience required
  • Municipal office experience preferred
  • Solid computer skills – Microsoft office suite including Excel and other accounting software
  • Ability to work effectively at a fast pace and multi-task with shifting priorities
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
  • Professional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
