Collections Associate
Job Description
Your qualifications for the Collections Associate position are as follows:
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years recent and relevant office/administrative experience
- Excellent computer skills including Excel proficiency
- Experience with Oracle and financial systems/software preferred
- Database experience
- Pleasant and professional customer service demeanor
- Must have strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Professional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Temporary position
- Anticipated duration 3-5 months
- Full time Monday – Friday 8/8:30 – 4:30/5pm schedule
- Option for hybrid work once trained
- $18-$23/hour depending on skills and experience
- Complete clerical and customer tasks
- Customer service/relationship building
- Research and resolve payment issuesÂ
- Set up payment plans for customers
- Make calls/send emails to follow up on errors/disputes/credits
- Document communication/steps
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate documentation, validation, and communication with customers
- Process approved adjustments
- Enforce credit holds  Â
- Communicate issues to supervisor
- Prepare reports and analysis as required
- Track customer history to identify high risk accounts
- Forward information to Legal department as needed
- Perform other tasks/projects as assigned
