Job Description

Our client located in Keene, NH is looking for a Controller – Non-Profit to join their growing team!

Your qualifications for the Controller – Non-Profit position are as follows:
 
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting
  • 5+ years of experience with GAAP compliance; non-profit accounting experience a plus
  • Effective interpersonal and team-building skills
  • Proven efficiencies in MS Office Suite; Sage Intacct experience a definite plus, or similar accounting program 
  • Ability to problem solve under minimal supervision
Benefits you will receive as the Controller – Non-Profit:
 
  • $85K-$95K/year, depending on experience
  • Full-time, direct-hire opportunity
For the Controller – Non-Profit position your duties will include:
 
  • Oversee and direct functions of Finance department, including Accounts Payable, Grants Management, and Payroll & Cash Receipts
  • Recruit, train, mentor, schedule, and develop staff, fostering a positive team environment
  • Prepare and manage timely and accurate close of all financial accounting records
  • Work closely with CFO to disseminate financial information to Program Managers and Directors; collaborate with leaders to develop policies and procedures that support company’s mission  
  • Ensure regulatory compliance
  • Other tasks as assigned
