Job Description

Our client outside of Keene, NH is looking for a Controller to join their team!

Your qualifications for the Controller position are as follows:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business
  • CPA or MBA or equivalent experience considered
  • 7-10+ years recent accounting experience
  • Solid general ledger/system skills required
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and accounting, payroll, & HR software applications
  • Previous supervisory experience and demonstrated leadership skills required
  • Professional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of internal controls/procedures
  • Technical skills related to financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory issues
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time and work effectively while multitasking with multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work hours as need to meet organizational needs
Benefits you will receive as the Controller:
  • Direct hire position
  • Full time hours Monday – Friday
  • $90-$110k/year based on skills and experience

As the Controller your duties will include:
  • Analyze financial reports/forecasts and recommend actions
  • Supervise accounting team
  • Evaluate forecasts/trends
  • Manage tax planning/compliance, reporting and audits
  • Develop budget/forecast and collaborate with others for the annual budget process
  • Oversee monthly close activities and statement preparation
  • Analysis/planning/modeling
  • Budget/track capital expenses
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports/presentations
  • Cash management
  • Maintain banking relationships
  • Develop/maintain internal controls
  • Review/track/monitor contracts
  • Special projects as needed
