Customer Service Assistant

Our client, a Manufacturer located in Bellows Falls Vermont is looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join their team.

This is a full-time temp-to-hire position offering $15-$16/hour based on experience. This position is responsible for providing support to the customer service, sales and production departments by taking and entering orders, answering customer questions, processing exchanges and returns as needed.

Customer Service Assistant Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate order entry and fulfillment
  • Address customer questions about order status, quality and delivery 
  • Provide feedback to internal team members about any customer issues/complaints
  • Maintain order records and information in ERP system 
  • Ensure all company policies and industry standards are being followed
  • Complete additional administrative tasks as assigned

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Fast and accurate data entry
  • Solid professional written and verbal communication skills
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience
  • Good problem solving abilities
  • Team player focused on shared outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong work ethic and habits
  • Neat and clean appearance
  • High School Diploma 

Computer Skills:

  • Excellent computer skills 
  • Expert MS Excel Skills required
  • MS Office Suite Proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • ERP experience a plus
