Hiring immediately!  Exciting opportunity for a Grinder to join a great local manufacturer in the Athol area! We are working with our client to find an excellent candidate to add to their team. This opportunity is on 1^st shift and will have you working 6am-2:30pm including mandatory overtime. This is a temp to hire position offering $17+/hr depending on experience.  

Once hired on you will be eligible for their benefits package including medical/dental/life/disability insurance, 401k, stock options/profit sharing, and paid time off.

Working as the Grinder, you will be responsible for the following tasks including, but not limited to:

• Perform straight, step, tapered, and formed grinding operations on a wide variety of parts
• Perform challenging and exacting setups
• Balance and mount wheel in machine
• Select proper speeds and feeds according to type/size of material
• Dress wheel for all work
• Maintain close tolerances
• Detect faulty operation or defective material and report to supervisor

Your Skills/Qualifications for the Grinder position:

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Good mechanical ability
• Ability to be on your feet for the entire shift and lift up to 50 pounds 
• Good hand/eye coordination
• Solid work history
