HR and Accounting Administrative Assistant

We have an exciting full-time temp-to-hire opportunity with a busy manufacturer about 20 minutes east of Peterborough NH who is looking for a diverse administrative professional to provide both HR and Accounting Administrative Support.  

How you will spend your day.....

  • Run the Front Desk - Answer and direct calls?
  • Provide Support to HR (half time)
    • Filing - maintaining personnel records
    • Updating and revising HR forms
    • Schedule interviews for hiring managers
    • Maintain billing and time sheets for temporary employees
    • Track time and attendance, document edits and enter hours into the system
  • Provide Support to Accounting (half time) 
    • Accounts Payable - verify, code and post vendor invoices and run checks
    • Accounts Receivable - Create invoices, post cash and process credits
    • General Ledger - prepare and post GL entries, reconcile bank statements and GL accounts
  • Account Analysis 
  • Answer questions - employees and vendors
  • Research and resolve issues

You might be the perfect fit if you have....

  • A high school diploma - Associates Degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years recent and relevant accounting experience
  • An interest in learning some HR skills
  • Solid computer skills - MS Office, specifically MS Excel
  • Professional written and verbal communication
  • An eagerness to contribute to a busy and growing company
