Our client located in Walpole NH is looking for an IT Manager.  This is a direct hire opportunity offering a salary of $80k/year. You will be working on site Monday – Friday 8-4:30, 8:30-5, or 9-5:30.  This position handles all support and maintenance for the company’s IT hardware and software network and will develop IT strategic direction for upcoming 3-5 years.  The company provides health and dental insurance, HSA, 401k, paid holidays and time off.

Your duties as the IT Manager:

  • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations
  • Maintain, administer, configure NetSuite ecommerce environment
  • Diagnose hardware and software problems/replace defective components
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware
  • Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes
  • Confer with network users about how to solve existing system problems
  • Monitor network performance to determine whether adjustments need to be made and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future
  • PosiTouch software including upgrades (when required), security, troubleshooting, and procedures. This also includes maintaining the database of items/prices at all store locations. Maintain hardware including terminals, printers, power supplies, and back office computers and network
  • Maintain various application software such as: MS Office, assist with Paylocity, Quickbooks, along with hardware/software contracts, etc.
  • Aid in maintaining the phones (contract with Star2Star) at all store/office locations
  • Overall system administrative tasks including security, account set up and deletion, and system log review
  • Support back office, factory, and retail operations
  • Maintain, improve, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

Your qualifications for the IT Manager position:

  • Bachelor or Associate degree in Information Technology or 5+ years equivalent recent experience in retail/manufacturing setting
  • ERP implementations
  • Proficient project management skills
  • Experience handling contract negotiations
  • POS implementation experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and other relevant user applications
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills
  • Ability to perform job tasks with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Experience working in a manufacturing and retail environment a must
  • NetSuite experience is a plus
