Our client, a busy and growing company in Brattleboro, VT, is looking for an Insurance Claims Specialist to join their team!

Your qualifications for the Insurance Claims Specialist position are as follows:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years insurance industry experience
  • Current Property & Casualty license required
  • Desire and motivation to learn and excel
  • Solid computer and technology skills; Microsoft Office
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient keyboarding and math skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent professional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Pleasant customer service demeanor
  • Ability to travel
  • High speed internet

  • Full time schedule Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm
  • Once trained, can be hybrid/remote but must reside within commuting distance of office

As the Insurance Claims Specialist your duties will include:
  • Provide prompt and exceptional customer service
  • Ensure client claims are handled efficiently, report same day to carrier
  • Act as liaison between carriers and agency
  • Advocate for clients as needed
  • Follow up to ensure claims are settled
  • Maintain and grow industry/technology knowledge
  • Build and maintain relationships
  • Provide reports and manage claim related communication
  • Collaborate with team members to meet objectives
  • Participate in networking events
  • Other projects as assigned
