Machine Operator
Job Description
Our client near Brattleboro, VT has a need for a 3rd shift Machine Operator that will have you working Monday – Thursday 8:30pm - 7:00am. This position starts at $20/hour and there is a $1/hour shift differential. This position is direct hire and the company offers a nice benefits package including health/vision/life/dental insurance, 401k with company match, as well as paid time off.
As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for the following tasks including, but not limited to:
- Loading and unloading machines
- Set up and operation of multiple machinesÂ
- Tag/label product
- Monitoring of product during production to ensure specifications and quality standards are met
- Machine maintenance
- Maintaining records
- Maintain safe work environment and follow safety policies
Your Skills/Qualifications for the Machine Operator:Â
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Experience with micrometers and calipers
- Basic computer skills
- Must have good mechanical abilities
- Must be able to be on your feet throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
