Job Description
Our client company in the Brattleboro, VT area is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their team. This is a great direct hire opportunity that will have you working a Monday - Friday 6am-5pm schedule with additional hours as needed. The position offers $110-$125k/year depending on skills and experience

Your duties/responsibilities as the Maintenance Manager:
- Safe and efficient repair/maintenance of manufacturing equipment
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage contract projects
- Develop annual maintenance budget, track expenses, and report variances
- Full-cycle project management
- Implement preventive maintenance program
- Perform root cause analysis for equipment failures
- Supervise maintenance team
- Collaborate with others to meet company objectives
- Other duties and projects as needed
Your qualifications for the Maintenance Manager position:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, PE is a plus
- 10+ years maintenance/engineering leadership experience
- Previous paper mill and CMMS experience
- Solid understanding of OSHA and other federal/state/local regulations
- Proven record of excellent documentation and best practices
- Ability to manage projects and identify financial impact
- Professional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Current mechanical maintenance knowledge
- Proven ability to manage contractors and motivate others
- Ability to work effectively under deadline with multiple shifting priorities
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office suite – Outlook, Excel, Word
- Strong sense of urgency and commitment
- Solid understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance
