Job Description

Our client located in the Greenfield, MA area is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team!
 
Your qualifications for the Maintenance Technician position are as follows:
  • High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred
  • Previous food or production manufacturing experience preferred
  • Proficient in electrical/mechanical equipment repairs
  • Previous cutting/welding/machining/fabricating experience
  • Carpentry/HVAC/plumbing experience preferred
  • Ability to stand and move about throughout the shift in variable environments
  • Must be reliable with good attendance history
  • Ability to work on a team to achieve organizational goals
  • Ability to provide own hand tools
  • Good verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Full time 3rd shift schedule Monday - Thursday 8:30pm - 7am
  • $23-$24/hour depending on skills and experience

For the Maintenance Technician position your duties will include:
  • Troubleshoot/repair equipment
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Submit parts and service requests
  • Perform on-call duties as scheduled
  • Maintain inventory/shop tools and equipment
  • Complete paperwork as needed
  • Maintain up to date and progressive related skills
  • Ensure compliance with maintenance department food safety/quality requirements
  • Follow all HAACP/SQF/GMPs and established processes
  • Other duties as assigned
