Our busy manufacturing client located in Brattleboro VT is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant.  This is a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity offering $15-$18 per hour depending on experience.  

Manufacturing Administrative Assistant Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Production Manager and various production departments
  • Assist with plant scheduling
  • Collect and enter data
  • Filing and copying
  • Maintain records and create reports
  • Create presentations and documents as needed
  • Maintain MS Excel spreadsheets for tracking and reporting purposes
  • Order supplies and maintains accurate inventory
  • Assist with projects and complete clerical tasks as assigned

Manufacturing Administrative Assistant Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • 2 years of professional office experience
  • Administrative experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus
  • Proficiency with all MS Office programs
  • Expert MS Excel skills
  • Able to manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP programs desired
  • Knowledge of warehouse, supply chain, logistics, inventory management and process improvement a big plus
  • Self-motivated and personable
