Job Description

Our client located in Brattleboro, VT, is looking for a temporary Microbiology Technician to assist with a temporary need approximately 3-6 months!

Your qualifications for the Microbiology Technician position are as follows:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1+ years recent/relevant experience 
  • Lab experience preferred
  • Solid computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
  • Experience with maintenance management systems
  • Excellent manual dexterity
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to follow through
  • Good verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively while multitasking and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to stand and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift
Benefits you will receive as the Microbiology Technician:
  • Temporary position
  • Estimated duration 3-6 months-possibly longer
  • Full time 1st shift schedule Monday – Friday 
  • $18-$21/hour depending on skills and experience
For the Microbiology Technician position your duties will include:
  • Prepare samples and perform microbial testing 
  • Assist with laboratory duties
  • Sterilize materials
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Record keeping and reporting
  • Follow company policies
  • Other related projects as needed
