Our client, a reputable vision care and eyewear company located in Keene, NH, is looking for an Optician in Training to join their busy and growing team!

Your qualifications for the Optician in Training position are as follows:

• High School Diploma
• Strong sales skills
• Customer Service experience
• Professional communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team player
• Excellent work history
• Basic computer skills

Benefits you will receive as the Optician in Training:

• Temp to Hire position
• Full time schedule Monday – Friday 9:30am-6pm 
• $18-$21/hour depending on skills and experience
• Once hired on, Medical/Dental insurance
• Once hired on, 401k with company match

For the Optician in Training position your duties will include:

• Assist patients with frame selection
• Make appropriate recommendations for the latest lens technology
• Measure patient and complete full order process
• Merchandise and display all frames
• Work with the lab to process orders and ensure timely delivery
• Place contact lens orders
• Maintain current knowledge of all pricing of frames
• Manage warranty replacements and coordinate product returns as needed
• Cross sell accessory products as appropriate
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA
