Our manufacturing client, a forward-thinking company located in Brattleboro, VT, is looking for a Payroll & HR Specialist to join their team!

Your qualifications for the Payroll & HR Specialist position are as follows:

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR/Business
• 2+ years recent/relevant HR experience
• Solid computer skills including  Microsoft Office
• HRIS/HRMS system experience preferred
• Pleasant customer service demeanor
• Professional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and multitask under deadline in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Ability to collaborate with others to meet organizational goals
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Ability to work hours to meet business demand

For the Payroll & HR Specialist position your duties will include:

• Manage payroll data
• Process payroll
• Maintain employee payroll information and records
• Ensure accurate payroll data/files
• Daily interaction with employees at all levels
• Respond to employee payroll/HR questions
• Assist with new employee onboarding
• Assist with development/implementation of HR policies
• Collaborate with team members to meet company objectives
• Current knowledge of Federal/State/Local employment laws and regulations
• Analyze data to develop solutions and policies
• Other duties as assigned
