Our client located in the Greenfield, MA area is looking for a Purchasing Manager to join their growing team!

Your qualifications for the Purchasing Manager position are as follows:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-10 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

For the Purchasing Manager position your duties will include:
 
  • Review quotations, secure bids, negotiate contracts, and execute supplier agreements
  • Assign purchases of raw materials and supplies to team members based on anticipated price changes, availability, and lead times
  • Develop supplier relationships and lead improvement efforts in areas of quality, delivery, and cost
  • Coordinate purchasing with Sales, Production, and Engineering to meet needs
  • Manage inventory and maintain purchasing documentation
  • Other tasks as assigned
