Our client in the Brattleboro VT area has an opening for a QC Technician. This temp to hire opportunity will have you working Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30pm or once trained you can choose, Tuesday - Friday, 10 hour shifts. The position offers $17/hour and once hired on, the company offers a nice benefits package including health/vision/life/dental insurance, 401k with company match, as well as paid time off.

As the QC Technician you will be responsible for the following tasks including, but not limited to:

• Inspection and verification of product conformance to specifications
• Final check before shipping
• Inspection of incoming product
• Notifying Manager of any discrepancies
• Ensure proper paperwork and identification for product
• Calibrating in house tools/gauges
• Destructive testing as required
• Maintain safe work environment and follow safety policies
• Other duties as assigned

Your Skills/Qualifications for the QC Technician position: 

• High School Diploma
• Knowledge of micrometer, caliper, and scale use
• Basic computer skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast pace environment managing multiple shifting priorities under deadline
• Must be able to sit for long periods throughout the shift
