Our client, a busy manufacturer in Brattleboro, VT, is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team!

Your qualifications for the Quality Engineer position are as follows:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, related experience considered
- 5-10+ years manufacturing/quality engineering experience
- Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance methods, tools, and manufacturing processes
- Strong computer skills including relevant software
- Excellent math skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Professional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as a team to meet organizational goals
- Direct Hire position
- Full time schedule Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pm
- $60-$80k/year depending on skills and experience

- Manage overall quality of manufacturing processes
- Perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with others to resolve issues
- Track/manage deliverables and communicate with customers
- Identify process improvement functions and share data, provide recommendations
- Ensure documentation of instructions/procedures meet requirements
- Evaluate programs and ensure clear definitions for product quality
- Support product activities with First Article Inspection process improvement
- Focus on continuous improvement
- Perform audits and provide reporting
- Other duties as needed
