Shipping Clerk
Job Description
Your qualifications for the Shipping Clerk position are as follows:
- High School Diploma
- 1+ year recent/relevant office experience
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- NetSuite/ERP system experience preferred
- Ability/willingness to learn new software
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Pleasant customer service demeanor
- Professional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively and multitask in a fast paced environment while meeting deadlines
- Ability to work hours as necessary to meet company objectives
- Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift up to 25 pounds
- Temporary position
- Full time Monday - Friday 9am-5pm schedule (8-10 hour days 2Â weeks before Christmas)
- Overtime hours required as needed and Sundays 2 weeks before Christmas
- Estimated duration 2-3 months
- $20.00/hour
- Print/review customer orders and print shipping labels
- Package, address, stamp, and ship product
- Pick/pack orders
- Communicate with other departments
- Maintain neat and clean work area
- Update spreadsheets
- Process gift cards
- Other tasks as assigned
