Job Description
Our client located just outside Peterborough, NH is looking for a Shipping Manager to join their team. This direct hire position will have you working on site Monday – Friday and offers $60-$67k/year depending on skills and experience.

Your responsibilities as the Shipping Manager:
• Coordinate outgoing shipments
• Provide superior customer service
• Communicate with other departments to ensure cost efficient and timely inbound deliveries of raw materials
• Assist other departments with shipping information
• Pursue opportunities to reduce freight expenses
• Control inventory, prices, and supplier performance
• Complete paperwork and resolve issues related to returns, errors, and omissions
• Manage vendors - obtain quotes, analyze bids, and provide purchase orders
• Other duties as assigned including backup for other departments
Your skills/qualifications for the Shipping Manager position:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
• 5+ years supply chain/transportation experience (manufacturing preferred)
• Strong MS Office skills
• Experience with ERP/SAP systems is required
• Project/process management skills are a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively on a team in a fast-paced environment
