Quality Engineer
Job Description
Your qualifications for the Quality Engineer position are as follows:
Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations
- Basic knowledge of quality and quality management processes (e.g., APQP, Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis, MSA, PPAP, SPC tools, Root Cause Analysis, etc.)
- Experience operating CMMs and optical comparators
- Industry experience with multiple types of material processing (e.g., molding, metal processing, and/or chemical processing)
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite and web-based tools
- Experience in ISO, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement programs
- ASQ Quality Engineer certification or AIAG training preferred

- Pay based on experience

- Support manufacturing with new product and process launches
- Submit and approve PPAPs
- Lead cross-functional teams to generate and review PFMEAs
- Conduct audits to ISO 9001:2015 standard
- Other tasks as assigned
