Job Description

Our client located in Keene, NH is looking for a Diamond Turning Operator to join their team!

Your qualifications for the Diamond Turning Operator position are as follows:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years precision machining experience 
  • Optics/diamond turning experience
  • Experience with M code, G code, DIFFSYS and NanoCam is a plus
  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of GD&T
  • Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma principles
  • Ability to read/interpret prints and specifications
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Good written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and multitask with multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to team goals
Benefits you will receive as a Diamond Turning Operator:
  • Direct Hire position
  • 2nd shift Monday – Thursday 4:30pm-2:30am schedule
  • $27-$29+/hour depending on skills and experience
  • Comprehensive benefit package
For the Diamond Turing Operator position your duties will include:
  • Set up/operate/program machines
  • Complete preventive  maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Troubleshoot production issues
  • Collaborate with others to complete root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Assist with establishing  performance standards and progress
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements
  • Collaborate with others to ensure continuous improvement and quality product
  • Ensure all safety and company policies/procedures are followed
  • Maintain data as required
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding issues
  • Other duties as requested
