Job Description

Exciting new Tax Professional opportunity in Walpole, NH!  This is a temp-to-hire position that will have you working Monday – Friday 8am-5pm and offers $60-$70k/year depending on experience.  Once hired on you will be eligible for their benefits package including a 4 day work week outside of tax season and paid time off!

Your responsibilities as the Tax Professional:

  • File management and clerical duties
  • Review previous year returns and prepare for client meetings
  • Follow up with clients to gather documents needed
  • Process documents
  • Scanning, uploading, filing, and archiving documents
  • Complete reviews and compilations
  • Track billable time for each client/return
  • Electronically file returns
  • Provide consultation to clients throughout the year and during tax season
  • Produce financial statements
  • Other projects as assigned

Your qualifications for the Tax Professional position:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • EA or CPA preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years recent experience preparing complex 1040, 1065, and 1120 returns
  • 990 and/or multi-state taxation a plus
  • Ability to work independently in an innovative wealth management environment
  • Must possess a high degree of self-motivation and integrity
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to set and achieve goals
  • Ability to work with confidential information
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong time management and client communication skills
  • Ability to work closely with other team members when warranted
  • Solid computer skills; MS Office Suite, QuickBooks
  • Ultra-Tax software suite preferred
  • Ability to work overtime hours during tax season
