Job Description

Our client in Athol, MA is looking for a Tool/Die Maker to join their team!

Your qualifications for the Tool/Die Maker position are as follows:
  • High School Diploma, vocation/technical degree preferred
  • 4-6+ years related experience
  • Solid understanding of surface grinders, manual Bridgeport machining, manual lathe machining, drill press, and lap belt machines 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to read/interpret blueprints

  • Full time Monday – Friday 1st shift hours
  • $31+/- per hour based on skills and experience

As the Tool/Die Maker your duties will include:
  • Build/modify tools, dies, jigs, molds, and fixtures
  • Test parts to ensure specifications are met
  • Select appropriate materials to be used
  • Maintain tight tolerances
  • Coach and mentor team members
  • Other related duties as requested
